Bluhawk’s largest event of the year brings live music, food trucks, World Cup viewing, and family activities to the property’s signature outdoor entertainment venue
OVERLAND PARK, KS – June 11, 2026 – Bluhawk, in partnership with the City of Overland Park, is bringing back its premier annual event, Red, White & Bluhawk, on Friday, July 3rd from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM. This year’s Independence Day celebration incorporates a Soccer Summer Celebration in recognition of the World Cup, featuring live music, community festivities, and a spectacular fireworks display presented by Equity Bank.
“We have seen Red, White & Bluhawk grow year after year, and we’re now welcoming 25,000+ attendees,” said Stu Skram, General Manager of Bluhawk. “We’re excited to not only continue building this event with our community but also invite visitors here for World Cup matches to stop over and enjoy everything Bluhawk has to offer. It’s the perfect combination of patriotic celebration and international excitement.”
Event Highlights:
Festivities begin at 5:00 PM at AdventHealth Sports Park with a pre-party featuring food, beverages, bubble soccer, plus arcade games and indoor public skating to beat the heat. The pre-party continues until 9:30 PM.
Leading up to the event, guests can shop throughout The Marketplace, where many retailers will offer exclusive patriotic deals, limited-time discounts, and festive giveaways. Patriotic tunes and summer hits start at 7:00 PM.
As part of the Soccer Summer Celebration, Bluhawk will feature a dedicated tailgate area with local food trucks and a large screen to view the match. Bring a lawn chair and join fellow fans for an unforgettable viewing experience! The evening culminates with the Equity Bank fireworks display lighting up the sky around 9:45 PM.
The event has been designed to be enjoyable for everyone while maintaining a family-friendly atmosphere, allowing guests to experience the celebration from the comfort of their own vehicle or within designated tailgate areas.
