OVERLAND PARK, Kan. (Oct. 22, 2026) — Bluhawk announced today that Five Four Restaurant & Drafthouse and La Madeleine have signed leases, building on the continued growth of its tenant lineup.
Locally owned Five Four Restaurant & Drafthouse will expand its footprint in its home market, while French bakery and café La Madeleine will make its regional debut at the development.
“Five Four Restaurant & Drafthouse and La Madeleine each bring something different to Bluhawk and complement the mix we’re building across the development,” said Kent Price, president of Price Brothers, the developer and manager of Bluhawk. “Whether they’re here for a tournament, shopping or meeting for a meal, these additions give guests another reason to stay, explore and experience more of the destination.”
Five Four Restaurant & Drafthouse, a Kansas City-based restaurant concept known for scratch-made food, handcrafted drinks and a lively social atmosphere, features a broad selection of American favorites alongside 32 to 54 draft beers. At Bluhawk, the restaurant will feature a spacious patio overlooking the development’s main entertainment greenspace, putting guests in the center of events and activity throughout the year.
“Kansas City has been an important part of our growth, and Bluhawk gives us an opportunity to build on that presence in a location with a strong mix of sports, retail and entertainment,” said Michael Norsworthy, owner of Five Four Restaurant Drafthouse. “We’re excited to become part of what’s taking shape here and serve both the surrounding community and visitors from across the region.”
La Madeleine, a French bakery and café known for approachable cuisine, serves all-day breakfast and brunch, soups, salads, sandwiches and entrées, complemented by freshly baked breads and pastries.
“As we look to grow La Madeleine in the Kansas City market, Bluhawk stood out as a prime location for the brand,” said Eddie Musallet, principal of the Musallet Group and Kansas City-area franchise owner of La Madeleine. “The development’s reach and continued momentum make it a natural fit for connecting new guests and establishing a presence in the region.”
The announcement comes as Bluhawk continues development of its next phase adjacent to AdventHealth Sports Park. Previously announced Phase 2 tenants include Anthropologie, L.L.Bean, Spavia Day Spa, JETSET Pilates, Chicken Salad Chick, Brookside Barkery & Bath, Amorino, Everbowl and Bruú Café, with openings planned through summer and fall of 2027.
