New retailers, restaurants and wellness concepts add momentum to growing mixed-use destination
OVERLAND PARK, Kan. (July 22, 2026) — Bluhawk announced today a new lineup of Phase 2 tenants led by the iconic outdoor lifestyle brand L.L.Bean, reinforcing its position as one of the region’s most dynamic retail, dining, hospitality and entertainment destinations.
The lineup includes L.L.Bean, Spavia Day Spa, JETSET Pilates, Chicken Salad Chick, Brookside Barkery & Bath, Amorino, Everbowl and Bruú Café, with additional tenants to come.
Home to AdventHealth Sports Park at Bluhawk, the development is redefining the traditional mixed-use model by creating a connected setting where people can shop, dine, stay and gather.
“Bluhawk continues to attract best-in-class brands that reflect the project’s strength and the demand we are seeing from both consumers and retailers,” said Kent Price, president of Price Brothers, the developer and manager of Bluhawk. “The new brands mark another step forward for Bluhawk, strengthening its appeal as a year-round destination for local residents and visitors from across the region.”
L.L.Bean’s arrival marks the brand’s return to Kansas City, bringing outdoor-inspired apparel and footwear renowned for its quality, durability and heritage style to Bluhawk. The new store will offer L.L.Bean’s four season assortment, including icons like the Bean Boot and Boat and Tote, and feature its signature customer service, with an opening anticipated in summer 2027.
Amorino, the internationally recognized Italian gelato brand, will make its Kansas City, Kansas, and Missouri debut at Bluhawk, introducing its signature flower-shaped, handcrafted gelato to the region.
“The strength of Bluhawk is the variety of experiences it offers in one place,” said Haley Kenig, senior marketing & events manager for Bluhawk. “These new tenants complement our growing mix of retail, dining, wellness and entertainment, building on the energy created by youth sports and giving people more reasons to make Bluhawk part of their everyday routine.”
Phase 2 construction is progressing following its Nov. 20, 2025, groundbreaking. J.Crew Factory, Buckle and Barnes & Noble are now open. Located adjacent to AdventHealth Sports Park, Phase 2 connects the new offerings with the sports park in a walkable setting.
Phase 1 also continues to gain momentum. Swig and Saladworks recently opened and Glow Sauna Studios is scheduled to open this month. The project celebrated a hospitality milestone with the May 2026 opening of Holiday Inn Express by IHG, developed and managed by Price Hospitality, and the first of three planned hotels supporting the destination’s growth.
